It is possible to convert tin to iron, by crafting a bucket from 3 tin (a new recipe added by IndustrialCraft^ 2), then smelting it back to 3 iron using a RedPower2 alloy furnace. This exploit should not be possible, since tin is much less valuable than iron.

Disable IC2 recipe for making buckets from tin? But it's so convenient..
Disable RP2 alloy smelting buckets to iron?
Change alloy smelting to give you tin instead?
New item, Tin Bucket, crafted from 3 tin but doesn't alloy smelt to iron? (ideally tin..)
