Server mod_BlockUsage shows
Item ID 13368 (13112): forestry.core.circuits.ItemCircuitBoard@56c92228.
NEI dump on client shows:
Item. Name: item.chipsets. ID: 13368.
hm.. I can /w 13368 and get a "Small Circuit Board", even though its not visible in NEI. /w 13368;1 "Medium Circuit Board", /w 13368;2 "Large Circuit Board". (warning: do not try 13368;3 or client will crash and have to delete player.dat). But still can't craft Trade Machine with it.
I can view the circuit boards in NEI in SSP with no other mods installed (except NEI, w/ or w/o NEI Forestry plugin).. wait, now they're visible even with all of the mods. Had an open instance of Minecraft connected to ExpHC, couldn't view circuits, restarted with identical mods, and sure enough I can then view them. But the Trade Machine is still uncraftable.
edit: and now the circuits disappeared from NEI again! what's going on?
Got help from #forestry. Turns out the http://forestry.sengir.net/wiki/index.php?n=Machines.TradeStation recipe is wrong. Correct recipe is with iron electron tube (not diamantine), and bronze electron tube (not golden). Then it works!
But, this means there are other problems. One down, two to go:
NEI install instructions at http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/909223-125-smp-chickenbones-mods/ say to install:
Install Modloader into the jar. Install NEI into the jar. Install CodeChickenCore into the jar. Install any modules in the mods folder.
reorganized load order in SK's Launcher: MinecraftForge, NotEnoughItems, NEI_* addons, CodeChickenCore. No changes.
Closing since the recipe is still there, whew. But NEI is still buggy: https://github.com/mushroomhostage/exphc/issues/67 Forestry trade station recipe missing from NEI
Unable to craft the Trade Station from Forestry, item 208:6. It shows in NEI but has no recipe.
http://forestry.sengir.net/wiki/index.php?n=Machines.TradeStation shows what the recipe is supposed to be. All ingredients are available except the Large Circuit Board is conspicuously missing, not visible in NEI at all. Neither in SSP nor SMP.
