Maybe this is somewhat related to #2259 ?
Same comment as your other issue. More info please.
Thanks for your reply. Same as for my other issue here.
As mentioned in the original report, I'm using YouTube Music
as music provider and Home Assistant MediaPlayers
as player provider. Haven't tried any other providers, means I cannot tell if this happens with other music or player providers.
Just tried this with DLNA music provider, there it skips to the next track automatically when selecting a playlist. So this also seems to be an issue with Home Assistant MediaPlayers
player provider.
Just for reference, the speaker I'm using is a Bose SoundTouch 10, integrated into Home Assistant via Bose SoundTouch integration.
I think this is related to the other issue but I will leave this open for now.
Also have this issue with a custom playlist created with Youtube music and HA speakers. The song that is selected and playing, will just keep repeating.
@LeonvanHeerden tnat is possibly this https://github.com/music-assistant/hass-music-assistant/issues/2259

The problem
This happens when playing a playlist from YouTube Music. It plays a song and when it's over, it doesn't skip to the next one. But the second counter goes up:
