I understand these lines to be "explorative" encoding by @KristinaRichts and @MajaHartwig from the early days of MEI. We could put them in a <choice>
as @bwbohl suggests, but to me, the proper, metrically correct encoding is not entirely clear to me.
The lazy person that I am I would just delete them.
trills are encoded in a second layer with note missing

. These should be encoded as trills. One might wrap them in amei:choice
though, withmei:orig
andmei:reg
.
