install button #42

I have downloaded and attempted to install, but the install button is not highlighted. This happen when it gives the option to store elsewhere.

@eric67-denver Can you tell me more about the setup? Is MusicBee installed through the official installer? The Remote installer might not work with portable setup.

I have the same problem. I'm on windows 10 and downloaded music bee from microsoft app store. The installation is not on C:\Program Files (x86)\MusicBee\Plugins, have no idea where it is. Seems the Musicbee has no idea too: Help/Support/View Settings file gives me a file not found error.

@trafenrest Oh so the problem is with the store application. The plugin installer was created with the version installed from the executable file in mind. I will have to check it and figure out what has to be done with the store version.

I used the Add Plugin functionality of MusicBee. It supports zip files, unfortunately you only offer 7zip beside the installer. So I had to download the 7z-Programm, install it, download your 7z, unpack it and add the dll.

How about using zip-compression for your distribution? Works better with musicbee

@trafenrest Sorry for taking a while and thanks for the information, I added a zip in the latest releases page and information on how to install the plugin for the Microsoft Store version. I did test the zip and it seems to work properly.
