New Olympus OM-1 #168

The plugin works great for my Olympus OM-D1 mark 3 but not for my new olympus OM-1. When I look at the metadata I don't see an auto focus area. Any ideas on how how to resolve?

I have attached data from both cameras below

I had fixed this after I picked up my OM-1, but so far did not merge the fix as promised. Mostly, because I have not been able to figure out why "AF Point Selected" information in EXIF is not always identical to what OM Workspace visualizes (see issue #162).

Anyway, it's not likely that I will make more progress, since the majority of AF EXIF information is undocumented and too large and complex to decode. So I will take the time in the next few days to merge what I have to make the functionality available to all interested OM-1 users.

BTW, are you running Mac or Windows?

I had the M1 ii and iii also… I see you are in Germany.

I am actually headed that way later this year to visit some of my friends.

I worked for SAP for 25 years and retired 2 years ago.

FYI - I would also be willing to do some data analysis to if you would like me to, maybe we can figure out where they are storing the focus data.

Do you have an ETA for your OM1 support? I've a very large number of photos to review and OM1 support would be quite helpful. Thanks in advance

@musselwhizzle I can try and will see if I can handle this. I might need your support.

My career as SW developer has ended 25 yrs ago, and apart from my engagement for this plug-in I have never worked with Github… 😃
