I made a newer Haxe implementation of Mustache, based on mustache.js and I think it's better because of this:

It supports all current Haxe targets (js,c++,c#,java,python,neko,flash,php)
It's well-tested on Travis CI (tests ported from mustache.js, so units + spec), on all Haxe targets
It's more recent, compared to the previous one that was last updated on Mar 2014
I'm an active Haxe user and contributor, while David's Haxe-related activity on GitHub is no more, so the library will be better supported.
