I just created a 2nd account in Parula. First one was imap, this second is ews; got this error (“UNIQUE contstraint failed…”) Picture1

We seem to receive the same folder name twice, or the entire folder list twice.

@papiermache Thanks for the bug report. Could you please also tell us:

Hi Ben, sorry but i got frustrated enough with Parula and put it aside (back to T-bird). The UI seems to have a mindset that I don't follow. I just tried to attach an image.

  1. Why is Accounts greyed out?
  2. why are the two Microsofts at the same hirearchy level as 'Accounts' ?
  3. They are sub-items (I actually have 9 active email accounts in outlook), why does the 'Accounts' not have Expand/Contract functionality?
  4. Why is 2nd Microsoft one expanded with things unnecessary ? identity?

For me to test the original issue i will need i think to delete the 2nd Microsoft account and re-add it. This may or may not give the error result (depending on how 'clean' the delete is). This is tedious to do.

  1. also - why does "Settings" in left hand bar only show up when I have hit the upper right doubled 'train signals ?' Need to be consistent, is Settings going to be a gear (most typical) or train signals? And if in LH bar then no need to be in upper right no?

Overall its looking clean and tidy but .. possibly too clean?

Why is Accounts greyed out?

"Accounts" is a header label for what follows. "Microsoft rick@" and "Microsoft VqaOntario" are your 2 email accounts that you configured.

why does the 'Accounts' not have Expand/Contract functionality? ... Why is 2nd Microsoft one expanded ...?

Subitems of the current item are automatically expanded (and only those). This avoids that you have to manually expand and collapse items. Just click on them.

is Settings going to be a gear (most typical) or train signals?

Good point about the 2 different settings icons. We'll look at that.
