A description like NG005895.1:c.(?-29)(*102?)del is rejected by the parser. This should not happen.

We do by the way accept this (link):

NG_005895.1:c.-29-?_*102+?del

Where offsets using the ? sign are interpreted as middle of the flanking intron (which is bogus for *102+?).
