LOL, you mean my free icons are not enough, in order:
1) Just tag the file, don't save the tag info just yet. 2) Tag and save the file. 3) Tag, save, and rename the file. This may seem weird, but my end goal is a plex like server which does not use databases rather filenames and use the filename to get the info out of TVDB and TMDB when need, keeping info fresh and not taxing your file server for the info. So if the tool renames the file to an standard, we can guarantee the right movie/tv show when queried. 4) Skip this file. 5) Cancel Autotagging.
Sorry, using my tablet and sometimes I hit the wrong button, didn't mean to close this issue.
So, an idea, in trying to keep the UI simple, I thought maybe just have one button, tag and save, because that is what I think most people will do. That will be the default, but in the preference menu have an option for the button to do the other functions of just tag or tag, save and rename with standard convention?
Just to clarify:
I agree that this should be simpler (you're reading my mind):
BTW DragonballZ?!? Dude, I'm beginning to wonder if you're my doppelganger!
Let me know if you agree, and I'll add a todo list in the first post.
only one problem, I use sheets and sheets don't have the red x, not a big deal, I can change it to a modal window, but sheets are sexy to me, the old mac way ya know... I am very flexible, one thing I have learned is that us coders have no ablity to understand what the end user wants!
And yes dragon ball is the greatest story ever told, at least in my opinion, now if you used to skateboard, we might just be brothers mixed up at birth!
oh yeah, and to end your confusion on my convoluted UI, the buttons in the button bar will run though the queue of files, all of them, so you skip if you don't want to tag one of the files, close if you don't want to continue autotagging make sense?
Thanks for the clarification. I'm sure my opinions are starting to get annoying, but here's another.
So when in autotagging mode (running through the list of files):
< prev | next >
try the latest, it is very self explanatory. The work flow should be good too.
We had confusion with the workflow...
After searching for the file name, what do the following buttons mean?
