RBF support for on-chain sending #38

RBF support for on-chain sending would be nice. It has many practical use cases.

Definitely!

The UX of RBF is hard to nail because it has so many edge cases. We want to provide a solution that can be used reliably by someone that doesn't necessarily understand what's going on at the wire level. We are still figuring it out, but we'll definitely get to it!

@esneider can you please explain why is it so difficult? Without being too familiar with the protocol, isn't replace by fee just broadcasting the transaction but with a higher fee? On the user side of things a button in the transaction called "increase fee" will be simple enough to understand by non-technical people, I think.

How long to wait still? Electrum has, bluewallet has, obw has. Why didn't you make? When I made mistake it can be dramatic and have no chances to cancel it at all.
