Originally by: Ken Juma on 2017-10-08 06:52:14 Thanks you for the info, very useful but new REST API, As a developer I have successfully managed to integrate safaricoms REST API.
The so called daraja, for sure it was not an easy journey.

The one advantage though that safaricom’s APIs has it that you wont be charged per transaction like other platforms ie pesapal, lipisha, africans talking etc. so you will be just charged for the normal transction fees. but on other platform it looks like a double payment.

1 The normal transaction fee and

  1. For use of the API ie fee per transaction, or subscription based

Originally by: Evans Maraah Kibet on 2019-03-13 13:39:07 Useful information indeed. I am working with @Sharasolutions and the information has helped me to complete the process of integrating Mpesa to one of our clients website. Our company charge a 1 time fee for the integration process unlike payment gateways such as that from Africastalking and Pesapal.
