I appreciate the effort - unfortunately I already have some automation which works pretty well for me (https://github.com/mvdan/dotfiles/blob/master/.bin/go-cross) so I'm not keen to maintain even more shell and yaml for a bit more automation. Doing a release takes me about ten minutes, and the vast majority of that is manually writing the changelog, which cannot be automated. Hope that makes sense.
