Bluesky account info not saving #265

I've searched far and wide and I can't find anyone else experiencing this:

When trying to link a Bluesky account, the save button just..... doesn't work. It highlights as if it was pressed, but nothing happens. I don't have much of a social media presence right now so I've only linked one other account (Tumblr) and it worked fine.

Oh, and yes I'm using a full user handle and an app password.

Hello friendo. Just had this issue as well and resolved it in the following manner -

  1. Deleted the previous password.
  2. Open notepad document (or any method to document your passwords)
  3. Generate a new password
  4. Note the name of the password
  5. A code will be generated one time only. Copy this down somewhere.
  6. Enter your information. For handle, enter handle.bsky.social (typically)
  7. For password, enter the password you entered to generate the code and hit save.
  8. Now copy and paste the password that was generated, and hit save again.

This was the only way I could get it to work.
