Install the plugin and put your todo file in your Obsidian vault with the .todotxt extension (ie, TODO.todotxt).

Thanks for the bug report. Can you provide some information? What device, operating system version and Obsidian version? Does the TodoTxt config work (it should be listed under the "Community Plugins" section below the "Core Plugins" section)?

The file extension cannot be changed from obsidian (I changed the header so the plugin would not work). This is an obsidian problem and I will fix this issue.
