French translation of the manual, is that useful? #37

Hi @mvo5 , I was looking through the sources and found this file.

Would that be useful if I'm translating it into French? Ie: would that be incorporated to the Debian package and available for users with one of the FR locale?

If so, I'm fine to make a whole translation before the Buster freeze. I'd like to do so with a github PR.

Hey @trebmuh - thanks for your interest in this and sorry for my slow reply. I'm don't have much time these days for synaptic unfortunately.

I'm honestly not sure if translating this is useful. It's a lot of work and the manual is not super well maintained. Probably best to ensure the manual is actually in good shape before starting a translations effort.
