Keyboard only allows all caps #1

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Bring up the keyboard inside Pharodroid

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I except to see the normal keyboard. Instead I see a reduced one without all
symbols, but only upper case letters

Device model and Android version?
HTC Velocity 4G with android 2.3.7

Please provide any additional information below.
It throws an error saying "can't find language en_au"
This error can probably be fixed by treating en_au as en_us as the same thing.

I managed to change it to en_us, and the error disappeared, so that's not
what's causing the error

Could not confirm/reproduce on Pandigital Novel (Tablet) with Android 2.0.
Onscreen keyboard shows up as usual, with lower and upper cases, and cases are
switched fine.

Can you make sure you do not have multiple soft keyboard programs installed?

As for the "can't find language..." this message comes from the TTS system, and
it depends on what languages are enabled in your TTS installation, and what
language is set per your locale. If you are not going to use TTS you can ignore
this.
