EUI64 device is not present on I2C bus Should be at address 0x50 (7bit)

Scanning... I2C device found at address 0x3C ! OLED I2C device found at address 0x44 ! SHT31 I2C device found at address 0x48 ! ADS1115 ADC done

schema looks ok, check PU resistors and timings

Tried code on this page, which also didn't work. the coe on this page appears to address, write, then read correctly in software at least. reply 23 from felix https://lowpowerlab.com/forum/rf-range-antennas-rfm69-library/lmic-library-and-moteino-mega/15/

still faulty Lowered pullup resistance to approx 3k, no joy changed part, still no comms scope shows nack isn't being reported when device addressed. changed part. no joy checked schematic and footprint, looking good.

ToDo 1) try a lower pullup resistor value 2) study datasheets I2C addressing modes to see what may be happening.

Wrong part fitted. A 24aa00 part was ordered instead of 24aa02. Believe this is because a 24aa00 footprint was obtained for the SOT23-5 Farnell no longer stock the EUI-64 part. 2345567, Microchip 24AA02E64T-I/OT, SOT23-5 Schematic and boards need correcting

Changed part in schematic and layout. In theory the part should be the same pinout though so just replacing the part with the correct one will suffice for testing. Close once new parts obtained and tested.

those parts are not available at farnell, though are available at digikey. alternative 6 pin parts obtained from farnell which require a different footprint. may be best to change over to these new parts which are slightly more expensive but show up at more distributors.
