I'd love to have the option to display bidakuon (nasal sound) using the Unicode named sequences for that purpose, in which the dakuten (゛) is not used, and is instead replaced by the combining handakuten (゜): か゚き゚く゚け゚こ゚カ゚キ゚ク゚ケ゚コ゚
That is how the nasal sound is indicated in the NHK accent pronunciation dictionary:

It'd be great if this were a preference setting, so users could still choose to keep the current behavior using the tilde 〜 if they prefer.
