候補 in search results for 侯 #987

For some reason, the search results for 侯 include the word 候補, even though that word uses the character 候 and not 侯.

I don't see 侯 listed as an alternate spelling or anything like that.

I notice also that 増加 appears in the search results for the (alternate spelling? misspelling?) 増化, but I can't find 増化 in the dictionary entry. Are there alternate spellings that are hidden somewhere?

Also checking words for the kanji 候 displays a word with 侯 Somehow they might be related but it's not visible in Aedict Screenshot_20240526-093720
