Feature request : could add a you bokeh background option (instead of just a RGB/color background) ?

BTW, with Android TV (Shield, Mibox), under Settings/Slideshow/Slideshow Background Image, I get the message 'You don't have an app that can do this'

Thanks, DL

Hi, not sure whether it's possible to apply bokeh effect on the image after it has been taken. It could be a computational-heavy operation which is only possible on desktop-class software such as Photoshop, but let me investigate.

Could you open a new ticket regarding this please?

FYI....fotoo app has bokeh background option. (I m running that app on Mibox). it's not computational-heavy. if you want something computational-heavy, try writing code to value a portfolio of bermudian swaptions using Monte-Carlo analysis.

Alright then, can you please point me towards an Android library or API which is able to perform the bokeh effect on a Bitmap?

Sorry, I'm not an Android developer (I develop in C/C++). It's unfortunate that Google/Android chose Java as its development language (slow, no pointers, no operator overloading, no mult inheritance etc....)
