Default Startup View #529

What enhancement or feature would you like?

Ability to set a default view that will always be the first displayed when you 
open TV Series from the Main Menu.

How would you expect it to work? Can you illustrate it with examples such as 
images or scenarios?

My main reason for this is that I'd like it to show the List View every time 
you start, so that you can pick either the kids or the grown-ups shows.  The 
way it should work is that regardless of the last used view, when you launch TV 
Series from the main menu, you would get this view (List View in my case, but 
should be definable).

Please provide any additional information below.

I brought this up on the forum some time ago, but have now just remembered I 
should figure this enhancement request business out.  I was told then:

"It would be something easy to add, you can raise an enhancement request. 
Currently it remembers the last view used and shows that. If that view is 
protected, it will show you the pin code dialog."

In MediaPortal 1.2 Alpha+ skins can make this possible by specifying a default 
view to open with.
