Proxy Switcher allows you to automatically execute actions, based on the detected network connection. As the name indicates, Proxy Switcher comes with some default actions, for example setting proxy settings for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera.

Order Network List or give Priority? #1

This project absolutely rocks. Compiled beautifully at the first attempt. Well. second attempt after I installed the Visual Studio Installer Add-on.

One thing it does not handle well is multiple networks at once. I.e. VPN connections. when connected to the wireless, no proxy, when then connected to VPN, needs proxy. This could be solved through either the ability to sort the list and use the setting to stop activating once one has been activated, or through a priority metric, where certain active networks get priority over others.

UPDATE: ignore my comment. The current auto switch works like a charm. Activate VPN, switches to VPN settings, deactivate VPN, switches back to wireless settings. I'm impressed.

Hi, thanks! That is already implemented. You can sort the network list by drag and drop.
