Old CPU 1.6.640 file update? #72

Hi, I have an older CPU and I downloaded the mod (latest AE update), and now Skyrim won't launch - I click the SKSE icon, per usual, screen goes black as if it will load, then reverts back to desktop. No notification generated.

I tried installing the most recent OldCPU Main File, but no success there either.

I was wondering if there would be a new AE update to the OldCPU files?

Edit: After snooping reddit for a short while, I found that someone disabled their "Detection Meter - NG" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/77350) and the new 1.6.640 version of Smoothcam worked PERFECTLY.

I did the exact same -> Skyrim game menu came up normally -> all the settings were now available to be changed in MCM -> I adjusted some settings and now it's absolutely glorious.

A very small price to pay - the new detection meter was cool, and perhaps someday it'll be compatible, but 100% not essential and was an easy trade to make.
