What time is good? #3

These classes will probably be held after 5 p.m. We could also do this at lunch, and if we have a big enough group we may even be able to justify it during business hours. Whatever the case, we need feedback. If you are interested in the javascript classes, please let us know what time is best and what time is no good.

If it's after work, 5 is the best time, but my availability would be based on if I had other things I needed to get done after work - but during lunch could be an option as well.

As far as topics, maybe introducing something like https://github.com/liammclennan/JavaScript-Koans and suggesting additions / contributions to it (assuming there are some to be made).

Micah, I'd like to do this. After 5 if possible. But I can't do anything until after this Dave Ramsey thing is over. I'm a rank beginner and not sure if this would be right for me.

Anytime is good for me, I just need to know what time so I can let Leia know if she will have to drive in to work on her own.

@ryanrousseau Thanks for your input. I really like the javascript koans idea. Please move it to a new topic so that others will be able to discuss it easily.

I will try to make the classes regardless of when they end up being, but I would like to vote for during lunch instead of after work. I would think that would solve more scheduling problems than it creates (YMMV); carpooling issues, family responsibilities/time, sports leagues, whatever. Again, YMMV, so I'm not dismissing any specifics this would cause for any particular individuals and some may just not want to do this at lunch; I understand the lunch 'break' is nice to have. But especially if we're not talking about every day of the week I think lunch meetings might open this opportunity up for more people than it will exclude. My 2 cents.

After 5: Ryan and Sonia Lunch: Colby and JONewbie? (I think it's Jeremy??) Anytime: Catherine and Justin

The best time for me is during lunch. @ozone1015 When for you?

@mwoods79, I'd like to do this after 5. If we exclude too many people this way, maybe we can move to doing both later.

@baughje, I really like the idea of using the code academy interface to teach the class instead of a terminal or chrome console.
