The search is not intuitive for those who would search on genus and species name together. In her example, searching "Echidna" only shows "Echidna Muraenidae" in the picker list. Typing "nebulosa" shows "Echidna nebulosa Echidna" in the picker. Showing genus and species together in the picker for some results gives the false impression that you can also search on genus species together.
