at first please I want to say thank you very much for your hard work and for your time which you spent on this piece of code.
I am using archivczsk and selection of the subtitle (embedded or external) means green screen of death.I see on forums that lot of people with dreambox OS 2.5 has the same issue. I added crash log from that situation. I am not sure if it is issue regarding archivczsk or subssuport but I am willing to help you with testing or gathering relevant information from the system.
