Hi @jag147, thanks for submitting this issue and including sample codes! Unfortunately the code came through unformatted and is difficult to read, mind putting the code samples in code blocks? This should be helpful if you’re not familiar with how to do that https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/how-to-format-code-in-markdown/amp/
Sure thing, I tried using the Add Code option, but looks like that didn't format how I thought it would. Here's the webpack.config:

Taking a look at your TypeScript file, and it looks like your import is slightly wrong. Change it to import * as widgetSdk from "@mxenabled/web-widget-sdk"
. However, I don't think that'll fix the issue you're running into since its your build that's failing.
I suspect that the issue is related to something in your Webpack configuration, but your Webpack config is too big for me to run locally and test out. I think our best options are:
In the mean time, can you also share your Node and npm versions?
The repo is not open source, and I don't think I can provide a local minimal repo since the code is highly dependent on our Azure subscription. But npm version is 6.14.15, the nodes are split amongst 3 folders (root, common, and web). Common:

I'm trying this out on Node v14.17.6 (which I believe is the version of Node that you're on) and npm v6.14.15 and I'm able to build a TypeScript project that imports the Web SDK. I created a sample repo that you can use as a reference: https://github.com/minond/web-sdk-ts-sample
... I don't think I can provide a local minimal repo since the code is highly dependent on our Azure subscription
And keep in mind that a minimal repo should not require you to have the Azure subscription. It should be something like what I linked you to in the sentense above, but that reproduces your issue.
Until we can get a sample we can try locally, there isn't much we can help with besides provide you with an example. Until then, take a look at https://github.com/minond/web-sdk-ts-sample for a reference of building the Web SDK in a TypeScript application.
As you're reviewing that sample, pay attention to and try copying the module rules since that's likely where your issue lies.
I'm going to close this issue, but feel free to reopen once you get the items requested above.
- Webpack config
This file no longer appears to exist, and I'm having the same issue with a Vue 2 app.
I'm having the same issue and the links on this thread no longer exist.
I had the same problem with ReactJS. If I built the code, it worked. But if I made npm run start, it didn't work.
So I fixed it with @craco/craco and with this craco.config.js:
const path = require('path')
const { getLoader, loaderByName } = require('@craco/craco')
const packages = [path.join(__dirname, './node_modules/@mxenabled/web-widget-sdk/dist/cjs')]
module.exports = {
webpack: {
configure: webpackConfig => {
const { isFound, match } = getLoader(webpackConfig, loaderByName('babel-loader'))
if (isFound) {
const include = Array.isArray(match.loader.include) ? match.loader.include : [match.loader.include]
match.loader.include = include.concat(packages)
}
return webpackConfig
},
},
}
Then on the package.json I added :
"start": "npx craco start"
I'm trying to add the @mxenabled/web-widget-sdk into a React app. I was able to install the sdk and it looks like I was able to import it without issue. However when it compiles I get the following error: ../node_modules/@mxenabled/web-widget-sdk/dist/cjs/index.js 238:13 Module parse failed: Unexpected token (238:13) File was processed with these loaders:
My application compiles the code using webpack. I'm new to React and webpack so I'm not sure if the issue is the sdk or with webpack. The webpack.config is:
`'use strict';
