Setting to turn off Glitch #83

Wouldn’t that just be the setting to hide the screen? If there are users that want to see youtube videos playing but don’t want the soundcloud art animation, we might need to rework the animation to be more widely appealing?

I like seeing the SC art but not the glitch.

Screen mode as it currently exists is dynamic animated content, no-screen mode is static album art. As we have discussed, the limitations of the soundcloud embed api will prevent us from doing visualizations based directly on data in the audio file, but is there a style of subtle animated effect that would be best to replace the glitch? Or, are we better off ditching animations on soundcloud art altogether? Not sure just disabling the glitch would make sense as it’s own very specific tiny user setting.
