Dear Miguel Xochicale,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected to present your abstract as a poster at the Reproducibility, Replicability and Trust in Science 2022 event, taking place on 7-9 September. In addition, to promote engagement between poster presenters and the other attendees, we invite you to provide a lightning talk – a max two-minute talk of the research described on your poster. See further details and actions below.

Please let me know by the end of Wednesday 27 July if you are unable to present a poster or lightening talk.

Lighting talks for virtual attendees

Recording a lightning talk is optional but we highly recommend it as an effective way to draw attention to your poster. Once the event has finished, you are welcome to share your recording.

Step 1 Make your recording with the specifications below and upload it to the Dropbox link by Tuesday 23 August at the latest.

Resolution 540p minimum / 1080p max
Max file size 50mb per minute of recording (e.g. two-minute video should be max 100mb)
Tips 1.     Your recording should be suitable as both a:o  Standalone advertisement to encourage delegates to view your poster for further discussions during the poster session, ando  Video displayed alongside your poster within the virtual event portal.2.     Remember to introduce yourself!3.     Think about your key message – what do you want the audience to remember about your research?4.     Get to the main point early in your video. Avoid too much introduction – 30 seconds into a two-minute talk, the audience should know what your main research question is and why it is important.
