Dear Colleague,
Following on from my previous email. This is a gentle reminder for you to submit your poster and / or lightening talk but latest close of business Tuesday 23 August. You are welcome to submit a poster only. However, please let me know if you are unable to present a poster or lightening talk. Any video’s that are not saved in Dropbox, will not be included in the lightning talks. Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us. Posters for virtual attendees Please create your poster with the specifications below and email it to me by Tuesday 23 August at the latest.
Format PDF only and no more than one page i.e. not rolling slides. Saved as ‘Surname, First Name’. Orientation Portrait Max file size 8 mb
Lighting talks for virtual attendees Recording a lightning talk is optional but we highly recommend it as an effective way to draw attention to your poster. Once the event has finished, you are welcome to share your recording.

- Your recording should be suitable as both a: o Standalone advertisement to encourage delegates to view your poster for further discussions during the poster session, and o Video displayed alongside your poster within the virtual event portal.
- Remember to introduce yourself!
- Think about your key message – what do you want the audience to remember about your research?
- Get to the main point early in your video. Avoid too much introduction – 30 seconds into a two-minute talk, the audience should know what your main research question is and why it is important.
