issue with font (wonder if checking is right) #172

Hi there,

Wikisource has a tool to export to ePub files (among others).

This file
(https://toolserver.org/~tpt/wsexport/book.php?lang=en&page=Shakespeare&format=e
pub) gives no error or warning on epubcheck, but when I try to read on an
ereader, body text is displayed in bold, not on regular font.

All required fonts are embedded and it makes me wonder that epubcheck doesn't
give even a warning. And the same happens with all files exported from
Wikisource with the tool.

Is the ePub a well-formed ePub 2.0 file?

Many thanks for your help,

Pablo

Hi Markus,

sorry, this is a tricky bug from Adobe Reader Mobile (as I discovered after
reporting the issue).

The whole thing is that the stable version from Adobe Reader Mobile isn't able
to display a OpenType font with OS/2 table number set to 4 (other values are
fine).

This might be difficult to check, so I guess closing the bug is fine.

Many thanks for your help,

Pablo
