longer timeout in tmate startup... hard to copy/paste before scroll makes it start over.

When I'm using tmate to get an ssh session, and I am using a laptop, so a trackpad, it takes longer to select the the ssh string to copy/paste. it takes many, many tries for me, because the darn thing is scrolling... cancelling the mouse selection, before I can get the whole thing.
Why does it scroll at all? why not just print it once and wait? I don't see any benefit to constantly spamming the screen...
Even if you're going to scroll, can we tune the rate? I would slow it down to at least a few minutes.
