Currently the radial gauge can display segments to reflect the normal, warning and alarm values, as set in the zones for a path.
When using a dashboard with many gauges, it would be very convenient if the background colour (or band around the outside) of a radial gauge changes colour when the path's value enters a different zone. It would then be possible to see at a glance whether one or more of the gauges is indicating a potential problem. The radial gauge as currently implemented does show this data, but it is necessary to look carefully at each gauge in a dashboard to see whether its needle is in a normal, warning or alarm state.
