Two options: (A)

[ ] On a failed sign in (due to email not being confirmed), automatically send an email to the user to confirm their email, and notify them (flash message) that this has been done

(B)

[ ] Forward them to the "send email confirmation page"
[ ] Autofill their email on the "send email confirmation page"
[ ] Add notes that about the subject line of the email they will receive, the email sender, and that it may very well show up in Spam

While the current process "works", many people don't know to click the "confirm your email address" link after failing to login, and simply give up. This is only a problem with older accounts that never confirmed their email on sign up.
