We are using later features of some of the packages, notably templates in panel which are only available in panel > 10.X it would be good to update the environment files so that it is easier to install

@WesleyTheGeolien I may want to use the app locally. If I do, I am willing to look into the environment.

Is everything I need to run locally in the folder "smallfoot"?

@mycarta very good question been a long time since I looked into this!

It looks like the panel app is all under smallfoot yes, I'd probably recommend trying the Conda environment first as the environment lock looks flexible (no pins)
