Launched app and getting "No Bitcoin Server Connection" Can't send bitcoin, already contacted support, no response.

Many users having the same problem can't synchronize or send any bitcoin. Did we lose all our bitcoins with this app? so sad :(

gjmulder commented 3 years ago

It seems to synchronise when I disable Tor.

Can you send out bitcoin? Many other users are having this issue still, same issue still. Anyone from mycelium willing to shed some light to help us?

I had trouble getting a server connection on an Adroid 4.4 device. I tried a couple of other wallets, but none would pull in the transaction history. I was told that, in particular, the iOS version of the wallet doesn't support all the protocols the Android version does.

I was able to install Bluestacks App Player v4 on a desktop machine. This is a virtual environment for Android that gives you (I believe) a Nougat system. After installation, I connected the new "device" to my Google account, downloaded the wallet, and restored it with my 12 word key. All funds were there and accounted for and I was able to spend the funds.

After that, I let the transaction broadcast, waited a few hours for all the confirmations, and uninstalled Bluestacks with all it's data. Kind of a pain to go about it in this manner, but that was the only tools I had available to me.

So is Mycelium not working anymore? I have two transactions with 0 confirmations, saying No Bitcoin Server

ghost commented 2 years ago

@souzagroup If you're using an old version of Android, it won't work.

You'll need to get a device with a newer version of Android and restore your wallet, see my comment directly above yours. I tried iOS, but apparently there's something different between the Android and iOS builds, and they aren't fully compatible.
