RS contributor here. Someone just linked me to this repo, suggesting that remoteStorage support in Cozy would be nice. And as the repo is empty and no issue exists, I just wanted to ask what its existence means, and if we can somehow help with making it happen.

We did a quick POC of integrating remotestorage in cozy about a year ago, taking inspiration from https://github.com/jcoglan/restore, but adapting it to the cozy architecture (ie. let the cozy proxy handle auth to the oauth part, use our data-system at the backend). I got it working (ie use todos and bowser) but it was pretty buggy. Since then, the cozy platform has evolved a lot and i see that jcoglan/restore has too, so this project definitely need to be updated / rewritten.

I merged the current state of this POC if you want to have a look around.

A good integration with remotestorage is definitely something we want, but as for now it's on our long-term roadmap (ie. we wont be working on it before we have a full-featured contact / mail / agenda / files combo).
