Checked with @GerMalaz to ensure this was a sufficient solution.

One final note: if anyone has cards from before this, when you pull in these changes, you can run the upgrade-0.9-0.9.1.py script on the filled-in template, to add the new \newcommands - so your build won't report errors.

It'll run - but it'll report errors.
