Currently having to specify the git repo in order to install master as version 1 is not tagged or published.

same error here:

I added gem 'capistrano-deploytags', github: 'mydrive/capistrano-deploytags' to install the lastest version

Apologies I missed this when it was opened. I'll get a push to rubygems together this week.
