I like the idea of showing detailed messages in the flyout. By the way, this feature can be implemented together with #50.
Regarding the font color, I think black and white fit the Windows task bar and other system tray icons better.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...] I would like to see a time until fully charged and time remaining on the battery as well as a dynamically changing color of the numbers displayed depending on whether the battery is being charged, is a low or critical value, or is fully charged.
Describe the solution you'd like A clear and concise description of what you want to happen. To display a time until fully charged or time remaining (depending on the state of the battery), I would like to see it in a little box when hovering over the icon. For example, when hovering over the Microsoft OneDrive widget, you can see the status of the syncing in a little text box (screenshot below). I'm sorry I don't really know the name of this feature found in widgets, but I'll also leave another screenshot of an example of this type of feature in another widget, eartrumpet, where it displays the audio output device and volume percentage. Currently, when you hover over the icon, it just displays the app's name. I'm suggesting that you replace that text with the windows battery estimate that's usually displayed in the Settings app.
You could change the color of the numbers in the icon depending on the status of the battery. For example, you could do green for charging, yellow for low battery level, red for critical battery level (both of these could be arbitrary values adjustable by the user), and white for fully charged, on ac power, or above the low battery threshold.
Describe alternatives you've considered A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered. I've considered the Fire Flyouts implementation of displaying time remaining, but I personally think hovering over the icon is more convenient than clicking on it if the only information being displayed is the time remaining, which can just be a couple words of text taken from windows's battery estimates.
