Home landing page updates #228

The FOSSIL team has requested the following updates to the homepage:

Make the myFOSSIL logo bigger
Make "Social Paleontology" text smaller
Make "Building connections..." statement larger
Remove the "Learn More" button
Remove the icon and links box.
Change the links in the top right to look like the icons from the box, but in a single row
Make the splash page visible without requiring scrolling
