somehow your merge (8f4c9d6ca625e8d9885b3ccd83af48bc52e0874d) removed parts of the typeface feature.
Sorry for not creating a bugfix branch for the transparency fix in the first place.
If you'll get any merge conflicts with my PRs in the future you can ping me without a thought and I will fix them.
Regarding the read me update: I focused on not changing the public api for the existing transparency feature, due to that the read me remains correct and it isn't breaking any existing implementation.
