In the GitHub documentation, the second point mentions obtaining the IP address through XCS, and my questions are as follows:

  1. Is it only possible to connect P2 via the RJ45 port to obtain an IP address?
  2. I've connected P2 via WiFi and obtained an IP address (e.g., 192.168.10.1), then connected P2 through the USB port. Edited P2Controller_RunTime.exe (IP: 192.168.10.1).
  3. I successfully connected P2 and used P2Controller to control the machine's main light and movement. However, when I use LightBurn -> menu "Tools -> Calibrate Camera Lens," I cannot find the P2 camera option; only my laptop's built-in webcam is available.

Is there a mistake in my configuration? Which .lbdev file, jwP2.lbdev on GitHub or the one provided by xTool's official website, should I use to install the machine?

  1. It does not matter how P2 is connected. You just need to get IP address.
  2. Correct.
  3. You must forgot to change the camera option. Please check setting and choice the correct Camera Type. Instruction is on the readme section. Please review it. After you change it, you may need to switch camera list to show up the camera view. Don't forget to turn light on and snap picture. You can use either one but you will need to change device setting for correct IP address.
