Notifications failing after a while #351

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Receive a call or sms without doing the test first fails
2. If i do the test it works for a while
3. After some 5 minutes it does not work anymore

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No notification.

2.1 on huawei u8110
pc running kubuntu linux 10.10

I have the problem too. when the app  is in background, no notification are 
send.

In my case this happens too. After a while the service stops sending 
notifications. If I enter the application, service notifications again, but 
after a while it stopped again.

HTC Hero with Android 2.2 (rom Cronos). 

Client: linux (Ubuntu 10.10) and windows (XP y 7).

This in an extrac of my log file in client, now is 11:04AM and in 9:38AM the 
service send the last notification.

Yes same exact thing happens to me. Although I have to say that I have tried 
NotifyPro and same thing happens to that as well.

I am running CM7 RC1 (Android 2.3.2), with HTC Desire. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 
help!

This is still a problem.  I don't know how long it takes specifically, but 
eventually notifications stop coming on PC even though service continues to run 
on phone.  Doing a test ping from phone wakes it up.
Running version 0.2.8 on an LG VS910 running Android 2.3.6  Desktop version 
(Win7) is 0.5.1
