Add support for Pandora

I've been getting about one email a week about this. To bad it is out of my

Please Pandora, implement this! It is a very simple addition to the existing

It is a good standard to share song information between the apps. My app uses 
this 
feature too (Instant lyrics) and my users ask for Pandora support also. 
Pandora, 
please, implement this.

It looks like Pandora released version 1.3 of their app..  did they add SLS 
support?

Umm.. no, it doesn't appear that 1.3 added scrobbling support or anything of 
the sort :( at least, SLS doesn't see it in the enabled apps.

Tested in Pandora 1.4.1 and it still won't work.

My guess is that Pandora doesn't want to support a main feature defining one of 
it's competitors, but I could be wrong. I'm not going to wait on this one.

Optionally, adding support for Pandoroid Prime, would be great. It's a 
third-party Pandora client for Android, and might be more open to supporting 
this feature. It's the only one I use, personally.

If Pandora doesn't support the scrobbling, adding it to a third-party app like 
Pandoroid Prime would be a great direction.  They would probably be more 
receptive.

I just noticed that my plays from pandora are now being Scrobbled! :D

I'm assuming something changed in a recent Pandora release that now presents 
this info to Android and simple last.fm scrobbler was able to pick it up.

Interesting! I was only able to get "Play Now" notifications to show up on:

Android - 2.3.5
Pandora - 4.5.1
Simple Last.fm Scrobbler - 1.4.5

but not on an Android 4.3 tablet using the same versions of Pandora and SLS.

After upgrading the same device to Android 4.3,scrobbling Pandora appears to no 
longer work.

Have you considered using the NotificationListenerService added in Android 4.3 
to add scrobbling support for apps like Pandora, Songza, etc.?
