this would be very welcome - official scrobbler app seems to have problems with 
this currently, it shows "now playing", but doesn't really scrobble.

Would be great to have this feature. 
Currently, Jamendo app requires bloated official last.fm to scrobble listened 
tracks.
I think it would be easier to get Jamendo app to respect one of 
well-established scrobbling APIs that Simple last.FM Scrobbler already 
supports, than adding a new one.

Hi! We're currently testing support for SLS so it should go into next release :)
Expect 1.0 beta soon (with a few new features too!)

FYI: Jamendo app now fully supports scrobbling via a-simple-lastfm-scrobbler:
