Unmounting/Mounting sd card will crash the program #4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Unmount sd card on the phone
2. Unmount sd card on the pc
3. Mount sdcard on the phone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected:none. Instead I see a-simple-lastfm scrobbler force closing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.1 HTC Hero, kernel 2.6.27 (unrooted, unlocked)

Please provide any additional information below.

my bad, i trusted the data sent by the android/htc music player too much. fixed 
now

Apparently regression has occured. 1.1.9 still crashes on sd-unmount.
