I looked at CorePlayer's website, and they don't seem to have a finished 
Android product yet, although they mention that they are working on it. And 
they mention Samsung quite a bit.

The reason it doesn't work is probably the same as here:

When having the GT-i9000 connected through Dalvik Debug monitor, and starting 
the music player I see CorePlayer tags flying around at least, so that doesn't 
seem far fetched.

Other than that, the process is called "com.sec.android.app.music" in my 
process manager.
I'll be happy to try and help you.

Did anything come of this? I really like the Galaxy S music player but no 
scrobbling sucks.

Yeah the player is best but no scrobbling i hate using other player because 
default one is so beautiful.Please see if you can work on it.

Still no solution?
I just got my SGS, music player is really good and stylish, but scrobbling 
doesn't work :(

I hope a solution will be found...

Same for me, scrobbling frome SGS is impossible with the default player :(

a further issue is that sls does not save user credentials and settings on the 
samsung i9000. after some time all settings are lost and have to be entered 
again.
