Scrobbling for Synology "DS audio" app #69

Synology is a company that designs Networked Attached Storage. They have an 
audio portion in their OS software that allows you to stream remotely anywhere 
with an Internet connection.

Synology has an Android app called: DS audio. You can also search for Synology 
to find it. I love having access to my entire collection easily without having 
to run a separate computer to stream to my phone. The only thing missing is the 
ability to scrobble. I would be more excited with this feature enable for DS 
audio.

Also, to note, the link says iPhone but Android information is mixed into the

just started using this software with my 211j
unfortunately my current home connection is in the middle of farmland on an 
unreliable mifi device (not mine)
but it all works great locally.. 

++scrobbling method :)

I would appreciate this feature too. I'm currently using DS Audio with my 
Synology 110j. If you need the address of a Synology to develop this feature, I 
can send you mine !

this is nice but it makes more sense to me to include the lastfm/audioscrobbler 
function into the server in the DSM instead of a remote app. also, im not an 
android user.. so that would take care of both/all sides instead of leaving any 
non-android in the cold.

@jeffpeppers, simple last.fm scrobbler is only available on android. For other 
devices you'd have to look for other apps, or settings, or contact last.fm 
directly.

The extension sadly doesn't work on Linux (Kubuntu) though. :(
