Won't save user credentials SGH-I897 Android 2.2.1 JS3 #79

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Use SGH-I897 with Darky's ROM 9.2 & root
2.Enter Last.fm credentials 
3.Use the phone to scrobble songs, keeping the screen off and on (just general 
use no really specific circumstances from what I can see)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The app should be saving the user name and password of my Last.fm account, for 
awhile it will save my credentials and scrobble properly. However at some point 
(hard to judge this) the app will cease scrobbling and the next time I open the 
app it will act as if it has never been launched; so no credentials, showing 
the change log, etc. If I enter my credentials again the app will work and the 
whole process will repeat itself.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
what device?
My SLS version is 1.3.2 and my device is a Samsung Galaxy Captivate running 
Android 2.2.1
